Actually, I've been to this site twice. The first time, nothing happened. Then the second time, we went, and there was a gate there. We were all confused. It was a full moon and very foggy night, and we heard about people having "rituals" up there in the cemetery during full moons. Well we went up there, the gates were on there, it was all muddy (your right, it's like a freaky lake near the entrance when it rains) so we just got in the car and left...we turned in someone driveway, and we came back to the directions of the grave....we stopped the car, and looked up there....sure enough, we seen a few blinking lights...but they weren't flashlights....I dont think it was anything paranormal, but I can tell you for sure, I know a flashlight from a ball of light, but that's just me. Z My boyfriend and I decided to visit the woodlock cemetery because he wanted to call my bluff since I said "I would not be scared". we went on Sunday afternoon he kept telling me that the last time he went there that there was not a gate up on the enterance so me just thinking that he was trying to scare me, I kept walking up the steps to the grave sights he followed behind we just looked at the headstones when we heard a horse walking next to us. I looked at my boyfriend and saw the look of terror on his face so I knew he was no longer toying with me. then we started hearing voices and motor bikes so I thought that it was someone with land horseback riding and playing on dirt bikes. Wrong we looked and looked through the woods but what we heard never got any closer or further away no matter where we walked we heard them just the same. It sounded as if there was a horse trotting right next to us my boyfriend said that he read on the internet that people have reported seeing a horse and hearing a horse at this cemetery. I left with my boyfriend and we had to drive a little further down the gravel road to turn around well there was no one out riding bikes or horses. where were the noises coming from we did not see a person for miles? KM My friends and I have visited this cemetery often. Usually late at night after work. The last time we went, about a week ago, as soon as i walked up to the gate (which wasnt there before and now has a padlock on it) I felt a cold breeze ice cold. I immediantly said I wasnt going up there and went back to the car. My friends stood around and talked near the gate the whole time i felt as though someone or something was watching me. Then I heard what sounded like heavy chains being moved. And everyone else heard it too. Everyone got back into the car and we left. This place is evil. You can feel it the moment you see it. BH I have visited Woodlock cemetery and really didn't experience anything scary. These people across the gravel road (I guess they were in the field) kept shinning a spotlight on us. At first, it freaked us out. But then we just figured someone was messin' with us. So, we got out of the car and walked up the steps and checked out the place and didn't notice any strange activity except those people kept on trying to spot light us when we were up in the graveyard. A friend of mine visited Woodlock along with a few other friends and said she became possessed(sp.)! I believe her too because she still gets freaked out when someone mentions it! I can't remember exactly what the story was of what happened but she started freak-in everyone out! It was something like all of the sudden she just picked this dude up and threw him pretty far! And she couldn't just do that. She's not that strong and the dude was a pretty big guy. Right after she did that she started to freak out and didn't know what just had happened and everyone ran to the car and I don't think they ever went back after that! I'm pretty sure its true though because they all say it happened. BR |
