| Taille De Noyer Home I'm kind of surprised that you haven't gotten any stories about Taille de Noyer on the McCluer High School campus (located at 270 and New Florissant Rd., in Florissant. I know the High School's address is 1896 New Florissant Rd.) I went to school there, but never toured the place. However, I was on the Tennis team one year (let's see, that would have been '98?), and I was the only one on the team who would jump the fence to get the balls we hit over there back. When I did, I had an uneasy feeling, and felt as if I was being watched. That might've been from jumping the fence and the possibility of getting in trouble, but it felt like it was coming from the house, as if someone *inside* the house were watching me. Also, this past Halloween ('06), I was an assistant manager at the Florissant Spirit Halloween store, located in the Florissant Meadows shopping center at the intersection of Washington/Charbonier and Lindbergh. The location is now a Value Village. Spirit was also in that location the year before ('05), and I worked with several people who worked there last year. That storefront is haunted, no question. I know, I know, Halloween store = spooky, but I saw her. I talked to her. I don't remember her name off the top of my head, but she did tell me. A few instances which were confirmed by other employees: One day, while opening, I was in the store with 1 other person. The other employee was standing with me at the register, when a sound-activated item at the back of the store went off, without cause. Another day, again, during opening (10ish am?) That same associate and I were in the store, only she was at the rear of the store, and a sound-activated item near the front of the store (which was particularly difficult to set off, requiring a loud sound, as opposed to the medium sound required of the object in the previous account) went off. However, if you would touch both of these items, they would go off, due to sound just being vibrations, etc. Also, don't use the plastic silverware that was left in the drawer in the breakroom from the year before. It's hers, and she doesn't like sharing. Fitting place for a Halloween store, though. Haven't gone to the shop as Value Village yet, as it only opened beginning of this month. Page Back |
