| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Haunted Railroad Tunnel Stories Lebanon Mo. Another place that might be of interest. Just past the foundation 1-2 miles there is an old railroad tunnel still in service where the road travels under the tracks. Supposedly there has been a guy hit by a train while walking down the tracks here and can be seen wondering around. Also suppose to of been a lynching resulting in the hanging of an unconvicted felon many years ago. Some say the man was innocent and can be seen running around the woods attempting to get away. Others have reported seeing an apparition hanging from the bridge. I personally have not seen anything here either, but have had the hair on my arm stand up for no reason on more than one occasion. No evp's, no photographs here either. I have not found any newspapers or reports to back up either lore as fact or fiction. I'll let everyone make up their own mind. MD I live by both the train tunnel and the foundation and i drive past the foundation alot and I will tell you there is something there but the problems happen when someone bothers the place, the spirits just want to be left alone, that is their place of rest and vandals mess with it alot, spray painting the walls and such also with the tunnel, it's a spraypaint art place, when kids die around here lots of them get their names painted on the tunnel in rememberance but even in your car you don't feel right just staying parked inside, you hear whispers and feel a presence there.
