| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Moontown Cemetery Stories The cemetery you are looking for is on Engledow Rd. The spelling close. The cemetery is Moontown Cemetery. Engledow is just off E Highway make a right on to it go a few miles it will be a driveway on the right side with a chain-link gate. If you go to where Engledow 90 degrees right and meets with Dickinson Rd. If you went a hair too far just back track a tad :) I have been here many times, especially on Halloween, and it does have a very spooky vibe and a few of the graves have pentagrams which is just really creepy!! S We also visited Moontown Cemetery. That was really cool. We took a few rolls of film at night but all the film didn't come out. The shots in the car did of each other just messing with the camera though. That has never happened before. We also took some shots during the day. All of them came out fine. We didn't catch anything that we noticed, but there was one very strange thing about the cemetery itself.....right in the middle of the cemetery where there are 2 or 3 graves that are not Moon's or Blackwells--there is a bright green circle. All the surrounding cemetery is dead and dried up, even the trees. We thought this was very strange. Someone had mentioned the idea that maybe that was the part that the grounds keeper took care of...but why would he take care of just a circle in the middle of the whole thing? I don't know. SM The last pictures I sent you were of the Moontown Cemetery. The second photo is enhanced. C Moontown Cemetery is a place where there is a spooky vibe, been there many times and felt/seen a few odd things, grew up in DeSoto. But the grave stones don't have pentagrams, it's actually The Eastern Star emblem from the "female" Masonic organization. The Star represents the 5 heroines of the Bible which that sect of the Masons base their spiritual symbolism and study upon. It's nothing spooky or demonic, and very common out in that area due to a once very active Masonic Lodge in Blackwell . Now like most Masonic Lodges around the world , there are very few members and they are mostly all very old due to the younger generations not having the time for social/religious/charity based clubs. B Hello, I live in Cadet, about 5 miles from the Bridge, and closer to the Moontown Cemetery. 1st off at Moontown I have been there once and it was kinda odd.. It was pitch black in the cemetery, Not even the moon seemed to send light in there, and I kept hearing voices, so I went and hid in the car till my friends came back.
