| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri McGrew Cemetery Stories I myself lived in Arbyrd, Missouri. Just one thing though, you forgot to mention a haunted destination! McGrew Cemetery is haunted. I lost my father in November 9Th of 2004. He is buried there in McGrew cemetery. Every time i go there to visit his grave I hear a moaning noise. I know it's not the wind and I know I'm not hearing things because the 4 people i was with heard the exact same thing. whenever i hear the moaning noise I go to my car and find that my doors are locked! i don't lock my doors, in fact i leave the door open so that i don't get so hot in there. The first time this happened to me I did not think anything of it. That is, until my step-mom went out there a week ago and had the same exact thing happen to her while she was there! We are thinking it's my father doing all this. he was killed in a car accident and made the same moaning noise as he died. He locks our doors so that we don't get in the car! It's as if he's telling us he doesn't want us to die like he did so he locks our doors! This is a separate incident but I went out to his grave late one night like around 12:30 am and saw a what looked like a man leaning over his grave. I drove up closer to the grave and the man looked over and literally disappeared out of nowhere. I don't go anymore because of the strange events. My battery manages to die when I'm there.
