| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Haunted House On North Bellaire Ave I was between 12 & 15, when I was home alone studying for a test I heard foot steps in the basement and up stairs. Prior to this I had run an errand for my mother & locked my door, to come back and find it open and no one there. (My parents were at a wedding) I checked the house, No One to be found anywhere, it was after that I started to hear the sounds. I couldn't handle it, I called a friend and told her what was going on, she heard what we believed to be kicked from the top step, well they came to get me and my friend, her sister and I went through the house turning off lights, up stairs and down. I left a note on the inside porch door for my mother, When she came to get me I got in trouble for all the lights being on, we had turned them off. But they were on! Last time I was there it was empty and boarded up and I couldn't locate the owner. This house sits between Independence Ave. and St. John Street. There was an empty lot on the corner, now there is a library, Weather the old Vickers station is still there I don't know, but it was the turn off to Belaire Street, I was just a kid, and as an adult I tried to rent the house, but couldn't find the owner.
