| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Gravity Hill Stories It is actually located west of the RR tracks. We tried it. It is an optical illusion, you just roll back down the hill. Julie I have been to Gravity Hill many many times. It is outside of Drexel, Missouri. It is very cool and has a creepy feel to it. If you know where Harrisonville, MO is, that is a good starting point. Head west on 2 highway towards Drexel. You will eventually pass Mid-Way high school and then come to an intersection with another highway (sorry, don't know the name). Turn left and continue on in this direction for about 10-15 minutes. You will have to turn right on a little dinky gravel road. You will recognize it is it because there is a house on the left with a large sign in the front. It does not look scary at first. Continue on this road and you will go over railroad tracks. It is at the bottom of the second hill on the road. When you hit the sharp bend left you know you have gone too far. Turn around. Just put your car in neutral and turn off your lights. You get pretty good speed. This really works. Hope that I helped! Sorry, I don't pay much attention to specific directions, I just know how to get there! D Me and my friends went to Gravity Hill tonight!! We went on it like 5 times!! Anyways.. don't park your car actually on the hill to where you aren't on level ground just because that just gives away the spookiness....but I do have a CREEPY story from tonight. You are supposed to put powder on the front hood of your car (more towards the bumper) and some on the back.(near the bumper)... you then put the car into neutral and yes turn off your lights lock your doors and hold on tight!! You will glide backwards.. sometime farther and sometimes faster than other times tried! But here is my story: Me and my friends went out there like 5 times... and we put the powder on the car .. and every time we got done backing up we would drive forward to the top of the hill and turn around... and every time that we turned around and looked there would be a light above the train tracks that would come on right when we got done and got to the top of the hill!! Ya that is sooooooo creepy!!! Anyways after driving a little farther away from the spot.. we got out and checked the car and the powder clumps weren't smudged.. they were still there.. and you would think that the wind would of messed them up.. but no .. there were actual finger prints in random places.. and a smudge or two..!!! SO AS THE LEGEND IS TOLD IT IS MORE THAN AN ILLUSION.. IT'S EVERYTHING AND MORE!!! And me and my friends have it all on video!! AHH GREAT TIMES!!!
