| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Galena Cemetery Stories There is something evil in the old Galena, KS cemetery, the first one you come to if you were coming down 7th street in Joplin to Galena. You can feel a very cold presence in the middle of August towards the middle of the cemetery where all of the condemned graves are said to be, near the soldiers graves. My aunt, grandma and I went there for some genealogy research and we all felt the presence. My aunt was so afraid that she made me get in the car. There is also said to be a witch buried near the wooded area and pond off the side of the newer one. It is located further up 7th street, passed the old cemetery.
