Old Salem Cemetery, take East 2nd Street east of town for 12 miles, the road name changes to Mo-O. The cemetery will by on your left. If this graveyard is located on private property as the writer of the letter below believes might be the case, you will need the owners permission to visit here. MAP I was just going through some photos of places that my husband and I checked out last year. I found one from Old Salem Cemetery in Callaway County. I had forgotten all about it till now. Any way it shows what appears to be thick white fog coming from a small area on the ground. We usually try taking 3 pictures in a row of the same spot when hunting. The fog only shows up on one. I have never really heard any stories about the cemetery. I only new of it because I used to live in the area. It's very old and I think private. The last time we were their you could barley see the headstone, many were crumbling or gone all together. I have heard lately though that someone has been trying to restore some of it. The cemetery is located across from the nuclear power plant on St.Rd. O outside of Fulton. It can be easy to miss. It is in a wooded area right off of the blacktop next to what used to be the Green Acres Bar. I have heard that there is now a sign marking the entrance, but I have't seen it myself. If anyone goes to check it out or knows any stories I'd like to know.
