| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Festus Haunted Rail Road Track Stories I've been reading up on your website and decided to go to a couple of places that are around the area that I live in and take my video camera and my digital camera. The first place we went to was Festus, at a railroad crossing at Old Highway A. I do have some video, and some strange things happened to my video camera. Since my video camera was dead, my husband decided to use the 1 minute of video that our digital camera has. THERE IS SOME FREAKY STUFF ON THERE TOO! On the video camera (camcorder) when we FIRST get out of the car, which was me, and my door was the FIRST to shut, immediately following it, you can hear "HELP" very faint. There is tons of interference and some odd things that are on it. WE WERE FREAKED OUT!!!!!!, I read on another website that in paranormal activity, the batteries will drain faster. We only have about 8-10 minutes of footage. My camera DIED!!!! I charged it for approximately 5 hours prior to going "ghost hunting". It has or should have at least 6 hours of video taping on it with a complete charge, which it did have a complete charge when we left our house. I live about 15 minutes from the location. There is no way that the battery could have died in 15 minutes of leaving our house with 5 hours of charge time! DB Below is a follow up letter. This video clip was recorded at Old Hwy A. (We went to that location twice because it was so wierd- the SAME night!) I can ABSOLUTELY put that on my marriage and my children that it was NO flashlight, thats what we were freaked about. You could ONLY see the moving light IN THE CAMERA (on the back, where you view pics) but the light was not seen by the "regular or naked" eye. When we were recording that, if you looked at the same exact location, you could see NO light. That's what freaked us out and why we left. When that footage was taken, we were standing probably about 15 feet away from the RR tracks and were shooting the video "down" the RR track, if that makes sense to you. I kind of got the same thing, but at a different spot with it at Old Hwy A with my camcorder. You could only see the light in the camera but not when you just "plainly" looked at it, my husband was standing within 6 ft of me with his digital camera and was picking up the same thing with that but you couldn't plainly see that either. That was more in the grassy area near the RR track. The thing in the video is moving and we were standing still until we got scared and jumped in the car at the end of the video. In photo 2064, it was shot from a completely different spot, we just kind of moved around taking different pics from all directions. There was nothing there to give any "false" orbs. That was just shot into an open field.
