ELMS RESORT & SPA Located at 401 Regent Street at the cross streets of Elms Blvd and Garland Street. The pool in the basement is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman who has been seen to move objects and touch people. As a teenager my friends and I would sneak into the Elms when it was closed down in the mid 70s and explored it on several occasions. We did witness things, footsteps/poundings and the last time we went in the hotel we were chased out by something. I myself think it was demonic by the voices we heard, and people in town have heard of the pumpkin house directly behind the Elms, right behind the old horse stable, it is said to be extremely haunted.
