Arlington Bed & Breakfast Inn. Located at 207 East Main Street 63020-2140 between East Clement and Rankin Street. Phone 1-888-727-3637 or 636-337-0043 Orb photos have been taken in the basement of this Bed & Breakfast. MAP Old St. Louis Road, located just a few miles south of town. Its not shown on the map below, but is located on the east side of Mo-E south of Downs Road and north of Summer Set Drive. This road and the surrounding woods are said to be haunted, but I have not heard of a formal investigation of this site having been conducted. MAP I grew up in the small town of Victoria, located on P hwy between Desoto and Hemitite. (about the same size of Blackwell--2 miles from where I now live) Victoria is LOADED with spirits and paranormal activity. Information I was given as a young adult, after marrying and moving to Washington county, is that the township was involved in the underground railroad. There were rumors that the underground tunnel system connected several of the homes together. There are old newspaper articles stating witch stories. Etc. The ancient house I grew up in, 1973-84 contained 2 spirits, George and Rachel. Don't ask how I came up with the names, it was more like they came to me. I was the first one in the family to be acknowledged by them. There are soooo many stories about the old "Blacks Bridge" on the rail road tracks, and Bucks Trestle near Hematite. CO Page Back |
