| DARK HOLLOW ROAD STORIES Hi, I just finished my picture site from when I went to Dark Hollow Road in Fulton. I only found two pictures which contained something odd, but I posted the rest of them also so others can get an idea of what the area looks like. Hope you enjoy them!!! A I took a little trip out to Fulton to find this road and take a look for myself. The directions were easy to follow. Got there right when it was getting dark, Nothing out of the ordinary happened, it's actually a very nice scenic drive and would recommend it. I drove down the road quite a few times, and stopped to take pictures along the way. I didn't find anything out of the ordinary in any of the pictures except one, where two orbs had left a long trail on the side of the road speeding next to my car, that was interesting. Other orbs showed up in the picture but I had to rule out dust, since the road is gravel and it was everywhere. Certain areas of this road gave me the most awful creepy feeling though, I found myself speeding a long just a little bit faster as it got darker since I was alone. The road ends up in ham's prairie where there is a small cemetery. It may be worth checking out again, only next time i'm bringing someone else along. I had another member contact me privately and ask if I had anymore info, so here is a few stories I heard. 1. Supposedly if you go drive out on the road at night and turn off your car lights then turn them back on a car will appear in front of you out of no were. No matter how you try to avoid a head-on, you can't. The ghost car then passes through your vehicle, leaving you and your passengers covered in blood. The back story to this is that some teenagers where supposedly killed on the road because they where drunk and driving with their headlights off playing around, and now they come back to teach others a lesson. Personally I think this story sounds like a retelling of several different urban legends. 2. People say that if you walk the road at night you will begin to hear a baby cry. At first you will see nothing, but finally you will see a woman come walking out of the woods holding a crying bundle. She will walk or glide toward you holding the baby out for you to take. Just as you are close enough to reach out for the baby she disappears. I have to tell somebody about what happened. Five of us went on a ghost hunt last year. We pulled a bunch of different haunted listings for Missouri off the computer that is. Fulton was fairly close, so we went. We went traveling down the road with nothing to be seen or to give ourselves to be scared,we all just kind of laughed at our selves and decided to travel the road back to Fulton well we weren't expecting for anything to happen we had just traveled the same road. About half way we all began to notice the moon started to get a really weird deep orange reddish brown glowing to it a few of us got spooked the others said it was probably the pollution cause we were getting closer to Fulton and the light from the town can make the moonlight look funny. All of a sudden the our headlights dashboard lights the whole car went dark our engine was still running we were still going down the road.The driver said that he didn't do it and when he went to pull the light switch back on it was still in the pulled out position. He had to push it in and pull it back out for the lights to come back on. I guess you can pass it off as a joke played by the driver but it dosn't explained how we ended up back in prairie hams town. Thats when all five of us decided to believe that maybe something really did happen. We didn't see any orbs or flashing lights like you guys have posted, but wanted to find out if anything like our night had ever been reported before for this road in Fulton MO. Two of them are going back tonight, me and the others swore well never go back it scared us to much. NM More Dark Hollow Road Stories.
