| Ghosts & Haunts In Missouri Cupples Mansion Stories I saw on the Ghosts and Haunts in Missouri website that the Cupples House was listed. One of my brothers worked there as a tour guide until just a few months ago and he has quite a few stories to tell about the place. On the third floor, which isn't open to the public, there is a painting of a naked woman from the waist up, Samuel Cupples has been seen standing under that painting by some of the tour guides. Samuel liked to turn the lights off on my brother while he was in the art gallery preparing it for the next day, and one day he pounded on his old heater that had been broken for years until it actually started working again. My brother gave me an all access tour of the house, but I never saw anything nor did I have any strange feelings.
