Mt. Zion Cemetery, located ne of town. Take Hwy 70 east then turn north on SsrZ. Take this road to East Timmons Rd and go left. The graveyard is less than 1/2 a mile down where Mt. Zion Church Road meets N Flynt Lane. Below is a letter with the first story I have heard stating that this site is haunted. Found some cool stuff too. Rt. Z is in Northern Boone Co. almost in Audrain. There are quite a few cemeteries and such that can be found in that area. Mt. Zion Baptist Church being one of them. I'm pretty sure there was some actitivity there though I have not seen the pictures yet. My sister was taking pictures in the back part of the cemetery I saw some mist in the flash of the camera. There really aren't any "stories" about the cemetery but none-the-less an interesting site. Unfortunately most of the cemeteries in that area have "street lights" One even has a watertower with a blinking red light. Not so good for orb pics...too many light sorces!!! Anyhoo, my brother-in-law's cousin told us about a bridge, not far from Hallsville, that is supposed to be haunted. J Haunted abandoned house, the ruins of this home can be seen from Hwy 70's east bound lane between the towns of Odessa & Wooldridge west of Columbia. The visitors to this site report hearing several different strange noises and seeing a flash of light which they are certain wasn't a car.
