| Haunted slaves house, located in the Avon-Coffman area. I have been receiving info about this site as haunted. Another place of interest mentioned in the letters below is a yellow building referred to as the capitol building which was used in satanic worship I don't have many details on either site, anyone with more info please e-mail us with stories, photos or any historical info you may have. MAP The place everyone thinks is a cult actually isnt at all. what it is, is a Maharishi World Peace Organics Mansion Hotel. Yes i'm talking about the same place it's on capital hill rd in coffman, mo. I also have the phone number to prove it! here it is, (573)756-9642. you can ask for Gary greenfield he's the big wig over the place. someone mentioned a poster of a mediating man floating in air. that's actually a picture of Maharishi himself! he's an Iranian who specializes in Meditation. Which is exactly what the so called "cult mansion or Coffman Whitehouse" is. It's nothing more than a Maharishi meditation/hotel mansion. i even have a picture here of the mansion in vedic city, Ia. see the similarities?? there's alot alike. would you please post this email on your website so people will please quit coming up on our property and ruining it! If you continue to trespass we will contact the police or do what we have to, to remove the trespassers. afterall, it is our property. JB I am emailing you to ask you if you have ever heard of the Libertyville or Coffman house. People in my town call it the Cult mansion or White-house. This mansion is located in Libertyville/Coffman MO. The name of the town is either one of those doesn't matter. But it's about 60 miles south of STL and about 10 Min's from a town called Farmington.It is said there once was a cult there. Me and some friends went there once and there was a red room that was all cushion.The floors,ceiling, and walls. In another room there was a black globe and a poster of a man meditating. There was tons more rooms but we didn't have time to get to them. I was told the ghosts of members of the cult haunt the mansion. I was wondering if you have investigated this place and if you know any info on it. if you do would you please send the info to me. I need all the info I can get. We plan to try and go there again in a few weeks to investigate. There are tons of things to see that'll freak you out. 1. The St. Louis capitol is located in Coffman, it is these buildings that are made of GOLD. and people worship the devil in these buildings. you can hear them chanting from outside. Me and my friends have been up there lots of times. its creepy as hell. 2. about ten years ago TLC did a little segment on Coffman because there were a lot of UFO sightings. Me and my friends have only seen one thing that we can call a UFO, but you might have better luck. 3. Also in the heart of Coffman there is an old slave house still standing. and needless to say there are some shady things that go on here. and it freaks me out quite bunch. Coffman is about twenty miles form Ste. Genevieve and thirty from Farmington on F highway. Well one of my buddies went inside the capitol.. and they kicked him out and threatened us if we didn't leave. the slave house is the only actually "HAUNTED" place that i know of in Coffman. One day while metal detecting there, me and my g/f swore we heard several black men talking but we couldn't really make out any of the words, but even if its not really haunted and we were just hearing things its really awesome and spooky in its own right, my band even did a press photo there.
